Name: Asura cave, Shesh Narayan Location: Pharping, Nepal
There is a controversy over this cave. Before when i was learning about Buddha it was said that in this cave Padma sambhava had meditated for seven years and was enlightened and that the burrow above was the representation of his head margin and the two hand prints on either sides were his handprints. Then i learned about Gorakhnath and then somebody else told me this cave was where he meditated and those were his handprints and head margin. In my opinion it is both’s cave. For me both attained the unattainable here. I don’t know why people are so entangled in creating controversies and involving themselves in it. Even if it was Gorakhnath or Padmasambhava , for me they provide the same essence of knowledge and they are both one to me. Instead of victimizing yourself in controversies, discover your gurus, Gorakhnath or Padmasambhava and learn the essence of the absolute truth from them.
The head margin imprinted on the cave, the right hand print and the left hand print respectively below.
There are five protruding spikes emerging from the hill which said to be the five cow teats. History says that milk used to drip down from these teats like feature.
